This posting makes me really wish I could draw! I would LOVE to be able to draw all the weird and interesting people I see, especially the ones I see at Wal-Mart and Barnes & Noble. It reminds me of how my dad used to draw people in the congregation at church (old guys with huge noses, mostly).

Peter, the originals are less than 3 inches tall. The oversimplified tutorial for how I draw: make a circle and put a nose on it then draw everything else.
